Sarah Poston

Ms. Poston's practice focuses on representation of financial institutions.  She advises on regulatory matters and also defends clients in individual and class litigation involving contract claims, and claims under the Truth in Lending Act, Electronic Funds Transfer Act, consumer protection statutes, contract law and other federal and state statutory and common law.  She also represents a range of plaintiffs and defendants in civil litigation matters including employment, civil rights and contract-based claims.

Before joining Frederic Dorwart, Lawyers PLLC, Ms. Poston clerked for United States District Judges in the Western District of Michigan (1993-1994) and the District of Connecticut (1997-1998), and engaged in litigation and trial practice in Cincinnati, Ohio (1994-1997) and Bridgeport, Connecticut (1998-2009).  Ms. Poston was graduated from Brown University with a Bachelor of Arts in History in 1987 and from the New York University School of Law with a Juris Doctor in 1993.
