George Chiu was born in New York City and grew up in Boston. He graduated in 1998 from Amherst College, Bachelor of Arts in History and International Political Economy, magna cum laude and from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law, in 2003 where he was a member of the UCLA Law Review.
Prior to joining the Firm, George was General Counsel to a T2CN Holdings, Limited in Shanghai (2005-2007) and Director of Legal Affairs for Ascension Capital Group, Limited (2007-2009) in Beijing. George is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and speaks Korean and French functionally.
