Ms. Mintz focuses on transactional work and securities and banking law compliance as a consultant, primarily in our international practice.
Prior to joining Frederic Dorwart, Lawyers, Ms. Mintz was a litigation associate at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP, a national Canadian firm. While at Osler, Ms. Mintz represented corporate clients in a wide variety of civil actions, and in investigations and enforcement proceedings by securities regulators.
Ms. Mintz has worked and studied abroad in France, Switzerland, and Israel. She has volunteered with Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma in Tulsa and was actively involved in Pro Bono Law Ontario programs while practicing in Toronto.
Ms. Mintz received her J.D. from the University of Toronto, where she was the senior editor of the constitutional law cell of the University of Toronto Law Review and was awarded course prizes for business organizations and family law. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business at York University, where she was the recipient of a scholarship for the highest average attained by a marketing major.
